Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. Druck auf Anfrage Neuware - Printed after ordering - Submitted Assignment from the year 2022 in the subject Business economics - Market research, , course: MASTER IN THE INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, language: English, abstract: This report has evaluated and analyzed the international marketing management practices of the company Nestle. It has started with providing a clear picture of the company, such as its product portfolio, vision, mission, brands, values, and corporate business principles. It identifies the international marketing strategies that Nestle uses, which include the 7 Ps of marketing mix strategies and the STP marketing model. The paper highlighted three issues the company faces in the international marketing environment. These include the political conditions and instability that create new laws, the economic conditions of the various countries and the social and cultural factors, using Nestle India's Maggi Noodles event in 2015 as an example. It also showed, that it depended on the localization approach and an acquisition strategy to expand and enter new international markets. While the best international entry methods for the company are joint ventures, foreign direct investment and wholly owned subsidiaries, applying the Porter Model and Ansoff Matrix together for selecting the international market entry and developing the strategy of entry successfully is also important. Moreover, the report showed brand management through the CBBE model and applied it to the Cerelac brand category of Nestle Company. It also discussed how to develop the new brand strategy and apply it to the new Life Cuisine brand of the company. It also discussed the NDP process and its key strengths, which involve increasing the competitive advantage, quality, and value of the company, as well as its weaknesses, which include its complexity and risk, changes in the sourcing of ingredients, and shelf-life stability.Furthermore, this study provided new international marketing strategy recommendations for expanding the business of Nestle in the international marketplace. After that, it devised an international marketing plan for launching a new food product at Nestle successfully. The plan showed how to implement the strategy from the first to the last step, involving timelines, key players, and actionable tasks.…

Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. Druck auf Anfrage Neuware - Printed after ordering - In a global energy sector characterised by market uncertainty, workforce transformation, sustainability expectations and competition for specialist talent, Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM) is critical to organisational capability and long-term performance. This study critically examined how SHRM contributed to workforce capability and organisational performance at Royal Dutch Shell during 2020-2021. Shell operated within a complex international environment shaped by technical demands, commercial pressures, regulatory obligations, stakeholder expectations and the transition to a lower-carbon energy system. Shell needed to attract, develop, engage, retain and ethically lead a skilled, diverse and adaptable workforce while maintaining safety, accountability and operational resilience. The study adopted a qualitative, desk-based case-study methodology based on Shell's corporate and sustainability reports, academic literature and professional HRM sources. The analysis applied SHRM theory, Ulrich's Strategic HR Model, Human Capital Theory, employee-engagement perspectives, Stakeholder Theory and Lewin's three-stage change model. It found that Shell's HRM effectiveness depended on integrating workforce planning, talent development, performance management, reward, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, safety, ethics and organisational change. Although women represented 27.8% of senior leadership at the end of 2020, challenges remained in converting diversity commitments into broader inclusion, progression and accountability. The study identified four key tensions: global consistency versus local responsiveness; diversity commitments versus measurable inclusion outcomes; short-term financial incentives versus long term safety, ethics and wellbeing; and global SHRM theory versus fragile-state application. Findings were applied to a hypothetical Shell branch office in Yemen. The study proposed an integrated framework centred on local talent development, knowledge transfer, structured induction, continuous learning, inclusive leadership, stakeholder engagement, transparent communication, balanced performance measures and robust governance. The study concluded that sustainable performance depends on connecting people, purpose and measurable results.Reviewed and Expanded Edition.…

Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. Druck auf Anfrage Neuware - Printed after ordering - Master's Thesis from the year 2023 in the subject Leadership and Human Resources - Employee Motivation, grade: 1,3, , course: MASTER IN THE INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, language: English, abstract: The first objective of the study is to investigate the impact of the performance appraisal system on employee performance at the ICRC (International Committee of the Red Cross) in Yemen. The study depends on three constructs of the performance appraisal system¿perceived fairness, perceived accuracy, and quality of appraisal feedback¿for examining their impacts on employees¿ performance. The second objective of the study is to examine whether motivation moderates the relationship between the performance appraisal system and employees¿ performance. The study adopts a descriptive quantitative method for collecting primary data through the questionnaires distributed to 217 employees at the ICRC in Yemen. Correlation analysis and simple and multiple regressions were applied to examine the impacts of the independent variables. By analyzing variables individually, the study found a positive influence and a significant relationship between the perceived fairness of performance appraisal and employees¿ performance, between the perceived accuracy of performance appraisal and employees' performance, and between the quality of appraisal feedback and employees¿ performance.Through the combined measurements of the variables using multiple regression analysis, the results revealed that perceived accuracy has a stronger effect and a positive relationship with employees¿ performance than other variables. Though it showed that perceived fairness and feedback quality don¿t have a significant impact on employees¿ performance, in addition, the study revealed that motivation plays a positive role as a moderator between the performance appraisal system and employees¿ performance. Besides, it found that motivation significantly influences the relationship between them.…
