Rhoda Chase. (illustrator). 128pp, (7.5 x 5.5 inches), color illustrations. California State Series, a reading primer. Good condition, hardcover, no dust jacket (there wasn't one). Edges of the covers are rubbed and frayed in spots, rear board is a little wobbly. The pages look "handled," and several pages have up to one inch tears on the bottom edge, near the spine, The whole book looks well "handled" but bright and clean escept for a few fingerprints.

Ffep is loose from spine halfway up the page and back free endpaper has a complete verticle tear with an old tape repair. The rest of the book is in quite good condition. Nice book considering its use and age.
