Field, with cover art by renowned illustrator Fer Bisel Peat & brilliantly colored illustrations inside on nearly every one of the 58 (unpaginated) pages, including both duotone sketches & full-color plates. A FIRST EDITION, likely first printing, from 1918, this small octavo (5.5" x 7.75?) has brightly decorated paper-covered boards lettered in black to front & spine. Condition is VG-: extremely clean, pages creamy white & completely unmarked. Sewn binding is secure, but loosening, with one signature in rear coming detached. Exterior shows bright, unfaded colors, minor rubbing to extremities & loss of about 1" from heel of spine. No DJ.
