The cover has some stains, rub marks and various small tears and nicks from it with one large nick out of the back of it. The back of the inside cover has been folded over. There's minor water damage on the first few pages and the last few pages and the spine is starting to crack toward the center. The rest of the pages appear to be in really good shape.

This was a library book and has a library pocket as well as writing in the inside of the cover. There's a tribute to the author and description of the process of making the book inside and the author's signature on the copyright page. The cover has scuffing and a light tear in the spine, but the pages inside are in excellent condition, clean and crisp. There are descriptions and photos of old buttons throughout.
