Mit Stempel "Sammlung Markgrafen von Baden". 25x18 cm * Albert Blanc, né le 10 novembre 1835 à Chambéry et mort le 31 mai 1904 à Turin, est un ancien ministre et sénateur du royaume d'Italie. Docteur en droit de l'université de Turin, il entre dans la fonction publique, devenant ambassadeur du royaume à Bruxelles, Saint-Pétersbourg, Madrid et Istanbul, puis sénateur et enfin Ministre des Affaires étrangères du royaume du 5 décembre 1893 au 10 mars 1896, dans le cabinet de Francesco Crispi. Il publie, lors des débats sur l'annexion de la Savoie à la France, un pamphlet intitulé La Savoie et la monarchie constitutionnelle (1859). Il fait partie des anti-annexionnistes, tout comme son ami François Buloz, cofondateur de la Revue des deux Mondes, que rencontre le comte Camillo Cavour lors de sa visite en Savoie en août 1859.
