Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. Dark-red cloth with gold-on-black title label to spine. 134 x 188 x 32mm. (xxii) + 424pp. Spine faded, lightly rubbed at ends and with title label apparently 'refreshed' with gold and black pens; inner hinges repaired in a couple of places with white adhesive tape; a little minor foxing on endpapers and first and last few leaves; internal text clean and bright throughout. The copy offered by us is a 1903 reprint in a school prize binding with the crest of Haileybury College to front panel. VG ( Light shelf rubbing to extremities with minor scuffs. College prize book plate to front paste down. Light foxing to end blanks.
