Agnes Bernelle wurde als Tochter des deutsch-österreichischen Schauspielers, Regisseurs, Theaterleiters und Autors Rudolf Bernauer und seiner zweiten Frau Emmy Erb geboren. Sie trat bereits als Kind in Joe Mays Film Eine tolle Ballnacht auf. 1936 emigrierte sie mit ihrer Mutter zu ihrem bereits im Exil lebenden Vater nach London…. Dort wurde sie Schauspielerin in Revuen und am Theater. Danach arbeitete sie als Schauspielerin und Regisseurin auf der Bühne in Film und Fernsehen. Seit 1963 lebte sie in Dublin. Original-Großfoto (Porträt, kl. 4°) mit eigenhändiger Widmung, Empfehlung, Unterschrift signiert "Für Günther Uthmann mit den besten Grüßen aus London & Dublin AGNES BERNELLE" (Auch vorhanden : Brief (1 S. 4° mit gedruckter Anschrift als Briefkopf) mit Datum, Unterschrift "AGNES BERNELLE geb. Bernauer" signiert - in deutscher Sprache an einem Sammler mit Übersendung von Foto und Programmen (anbei !) und Einladung zu ihrer Solo-Show DAS WAR IN SCHOENEBERG Dublin, 19.4.1987, in Mappe, Euro 40,-).
