Based on Peter Adam's television series created for the BBC (1988), this text explores the art styles present throughout the Third Reich, with focus including National Socialist ideology, sculptures, architects, and building sites. Signed by Kertesz in blue ink at the title page in a slightly shaky but still firm hand. A late-life signature, and uncommon here as the book was published but months before his death at 91. An uncommon copy of the book as well for the signature containing pp.73-84 was bound inverted (complete, but 180 degrees off and running back to front). A VG+/VG copy: clean and bright cloth, solid hinges & joints; clean and unmarked text, illustrations, and edges; the jacket is whole but mildly dust-soiled in spots and lightly yellowed at the spine and panel edges. Still, very presentable. Signed by Author(s).
