Top edge of text-block lightly toned, and with a few faint but tan-rimmed droplet stains close to backstrip - having no effect on contents which are unmarked and in near fine condition. Original navy cloth, backstrip titled etc in gilt. Dust jacket toned at backstrip panel and lightly & patchily so at front and rear panels, and also a little damp-affected in form of two lengthy tan-edged streaks along backstrip panel, and quite densely-packed small tan-rimmed droplet-stains over part of backstrip panel and adjoining section of front panel to a width of up to 2ĵ" (5.5cm); these flaws fairly minor, not affecting appearance of dust jacket too adversely, and with no effect on binding.
