In black cloth with gilt to illustration and type on spine. Blindstamped colophon on rear board. Top page ends tinted, but faded. Rear corners dinged and tiny spots rubbed through to bottom corners. Light wear to spine ends. Interior clean and binding solid. Small fold to bottom corner at title page where page was miscut. Jacket is price-clipped with chipping to spine ends and corners, four tears 3/4 to 1 1/2 inch to heel of spine and top and bottom of rear panel and several shorter tears to edges. A couple tape repairs to tear at top rear panel and bottom of spine. Rear flap separated and front flap mostly, but still holding on. Small hole to latter and rear panel of jacket. Some light smudges/marks. 1st Printing.
