In black cloth with illustration to front board with gilt that has faded. Gilt to type on faded spine rubbed off. Publisher's colophon blindstamped to rear cover. Some fraying with small chips to spine ends and spots rubbed through at spine ends and corners and a few spots to tops of boards. Some scuffing/marks to boards and mottling to spine. Small paper label attached to bottom of spine. Front flap of original jacket glued to verso of ffep and previous owner's name stamped to half-title page. Beautifully illustrated endpapers. Some wear to top of rear hinge, but still solid. Page ends well tanned with some soling and marks. In brand new high quality facsimile jacket. 1st Printing.
