x, [2], 210 pp (including Index). Profusely illustrated. 8vo. Laid-in is a 4-page invitational card to "Ansel Adams / A Celebration / May 11, 1984 / Sunset Center Theatre / Carmel-by-the-Sea", which has Adam's photograph of Half Dome on the front. Unfortunately, Adams died April 22nd. Some pen underlining to pp 98-99, otherwise a Nr Fine copy in a VG+ jacket which has just a bit of wear to spine panel crown. Black cloth binding with silver stamped title lettering to spine. Dust jacket 1st edition thus. INSCRIBED by Adams [dated 2-19-84], and underneath signed by his wife, Virginia.
