1 S. Qu.-32mo. Zur Erinnerung an Rudolf Gerlach". Der aus Doboutz bei Czernowitz stammende Künstler debütierte 1923 als Rudolf in La Bohème" am Stadttheater von Olmütz, war dann in Königsberg, Stettin, Chemnitz und Graz engagiert und wurde 1931 an die Münchner Staatsoper verpflichtet, deren Ensemble er bis 1937 angehörte. 1938 g…astierte Gerlach u. a. an der Wiener Staatsoper und sang in Wien im selben Jahr das Tenorsolo in der Uraufführung des Oratoriums Das Buch mit sieben Siegeln" von Franz Schmidt. 1944 für einen Rüstungsbetrieb dienstverpflichtet, trat er seit 1945 wieder an der Münchner Oper auf und unternahm 1956/57 eine Tournee durch Kanada und die USA. Beiliegend einige Zeitungsausschnitte.
