Complete with two fold-out maps of Cincinnati and the Miami Country, light toning to each map, closed tear to Cincinnati map, with archival tape repair to verso, Miami Country map in fine condition. (Sabin 20822) (Howes D465) (Thomson Ohio, 346) An interesting early Cincinnati piece, being the first study of the geology of the western Ohio Valley, with special attention given to "elephant fossils" at Big Bone Lick (later discovered to be Mammoths).
