Dr. David Stephens

Dr. David Stephens, PsyD, is a neuropsychologist with thirty-seven years of clinical practice and more than 1,200 patients across six continents. His work spans traumatic brain injury, PTSD, cognitive decline, mood disorders, chronic pain, peripheral neuropathy, and autoimmune conditions — presentations that conventional medicine treats as separate and unrelated, and that his clinical framework addresses at their common source.

After decades of observation, Dr. Stephens identified a single upstream cause behind many of these conditions: chronic intracellular glucose dysregulation that starves the brain of its essential fuel, compromising its capacity to govern, regulate, and repair every system in the body. That discovery produced the Glucose Protocol — a clinical framework that has generated documented recovery in conditions the standard model does not predict should be reversible.

A former Academic Dean at the University of the Rockies and Editorial Board Member for the Journal of Correctional Health Care, Dr. Stephens is the author of five books including Restored Hope: A Neuroscience Guide to Optimal Brain and Human Function and The Glucose Protocol: A Practical and Scientific Guide to Brain Restoration of Health.
