J.J. Blackstone

J.J. Blackstone grew up in a holler in West Virginia, then moved to seven other states and went to fourteen schools before graduating two years early from high school. She had many parents and siblings and even lived on a religious compound in Texas and Missouri. She is creatively gifted. She has a Bachelor's in English with a concentration in creative writing and a minor in fine arts from the University Of Michigan, where she graduated summa cum laude. She also has several other degrees, holds certificates, accreditation's and professional hours in various creative outlets including, painting, muralist, photography, herbalist, landscaping, culinary arts, singing (all across America), several musical instruments and foreign languages. Writing is her number one passion. She writes songs, poems, children's books, (even illustrated one) young adult and adult fiction in several genres. In her spare time, she grows several private gardens and gives away seasonal food to the community and travels across the states visiting with her families, that are spread all over.
