Mike Jones is a British educator, author, and advocate for children with dyslexia. He is the founder of the educational technology company Nessy Learning and a director of the Bristol Dyslexia Centre. Jones has authored more than 20 award winning literacy and learning programs, a series of decodable readers and several best-selling books on dyslexia and spelling. 'Dyslexia Explained' has been translated into Greek, Spanish, Japanese and Lithuanian. His early life experiences with dyslexia were portrayed in the short film Mical. He has spoken internationally on literacy education and has contributed to discussions on dyslexia awareness and teaching methods.
