JM Miller teaches creative writing at the University of Washington in Tacoma and Richard Hugo House in Seattle. They are a trans-identified writer whose works explore the body, politics, violence, justice and being. They have one book, Wilderness Lessons, and a chapbook, Primitive Elegy. They live with their partner and snoring cat on Vashon Island, WA.
