Bartolo Longo

Bartolo Longo (1841-1926) was a former lawyer and spiritist who experienced a profound conversion through the power of the Rosary. He became a lay Dominican, founded the sanctuary and basilica at Pompeii, dedicated his life to the poor, and was canonized by Pope Leo XIV on October 19, 2025.
