Peter Chow-White

Peter Chow-White is Assistant Professor in the School of Communication at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada. He has published on race, gender, technology, and genomics in Science, Technology & Human Values, Media, Culture & Society, the International Journal of Communication and Communication Theory. He is co-author with Lisa Nakamura of the edited book Race After the Internet from Routledge Press. His current research investigates media encoding and the shaping of information technologies, such as the Internet, databases, and data mining, in the contexts of genome science and social media
