Review
At certain points, it's evident that the contents of a Web site just don't translate well onto paper: "Sound Effects has, of course, numerous belches, as well as the requisite boings, bells, and bangs." Right. But anyway, this book is worthwhile reading for days of idle surfing. It'll make your everyday Web experience more enjoyable. --David Wall, amazon.com
Topics covered: A directory of Web sites, organised by subject area and then alphabetically. Categories include art, computers, entertainment, news, sports, science and shopping.
