One really nice feature: the book lies flat at almost any page, enabling you to station the volume at your side as you use both hands on your keyboard. On the other hand, you would expect a directory published under the Yahoo! brand to have a supporting Web site that would obviate the need to do manual URL entry. No such luck.

At certain points, it's evident that the contents of a Web site just don't translate well onto paper: "Sound Effects has, of course, numerous belches, as well as the requisite boings, bells, and bangs."
