Early printing. Measuring approximately 9" x 6.75" with 208 numbered pages. This book is in poor condition. Front and rear hinges cracked. Tape on front pastedown and endpaper in attempt to hold front board to binding. Children's illustrations on rear pastedown and endpaper. Lacking title page. Many of the black and white illustrations have been colored by a child. So has the from board. 6 color plates are present. Most pages are loos from binding. Textblock separated from binding. This novel written by L. Frank Baum takes place in the world of Oz following Dorthey's adventure as she encounters the worlds vast characters.
