The Weight, Hypnotherapy and YOU Weight Reduction Program: An NLP and Hypnotherapy Practitioner s Manual, gives practitioners a complete, fully-scripted, ready-to-use weight reduction program that addresses the epidemic problem of obesity in adults. This book gives step-by-step, easy-to-follow instructions for managing, conducting and marketing a unique program that can expand a practice, constitute a niche offering, or add a new, valuable and profitable service to an existing practice. This unique program is based on actual clinical experience and published research on the efficacy of hypnotherapy as a viable tool in weight management. The book includes examples of office forms and marketing materials, as well as a CD-ROM containing a Client Workbook with take-home readings and assignments. This program will help your clients stay motivated and on-track with their nutrition and exercise plans, while working at an individual pace. The book covers the practitioner s preparation: the program background, relevant research, prerequisite skills, training and knowledge, how to screen clients, office forms, as well as ethical, safety, and marketing considerations. The eight scripted sessions cover the clinical interview and outcomes, reframing overeating, self-hypnosis, stress management, sensible food choices, the relationship with food, exercise, and lasting results. The book tells readers how to motivate recalcitrant clients and how to market the program in one s own community to build a referral network.
