An engaging book of essays about what's important in life: music, art, respect, faith, heartbreak, and humor. Mick Sterling is a very humorous and thoughtful soul.
--Louie Anderson, Emmy Award-winning actor, comedian, bestselling author, and St. Paul native
Minneapolis music legend Mick Sterling is a natural-born storyteller and he gives us much to ponder, here: The perfect slice of toast. Cringey basement parties. Naked swimming lessons. Sharing a stage with Prince. Saying goodbye to his son. And Else.
Tender moments, awkward moments, moments that make you glad to be alive, Sterling leaves it all on the page. Juxtaposing his silliest observations with his darkest heartbreak, he's formed an unforgettable anthem of life that will make you want to crank up the volume of your own life and roll the windows all the way down.
