Brown cover with black lettering; 25 chapters. The top and bottom edges of the spine strip have closed tears, tipped back together with glue, and a little color loss from shelf wear rubbing. The text block ends and the endpapers have foxing. The front endpaper has an ink stamp of an anchor and a monogram and has two pinholes left by a staple. The pages are darkly tanned. Twelve page margins each have a stain. One page has a crease line. Two margins each have a peeled tear, 1/2 in. and 2 in., that are tipped back together with glue. Scans e-mailed upon request. Lime green cloth with black titles, with light age-soil, rubbing and light bumping to edges, sunning to spine. Spine square. Binding sound. No dust jacket. Book shows little wear, and surprisingly no toning to the bright orange cloth or top stain. Aside from a neat gift inscription there are no markings within the pages. Jacket by Nat Falk is unfaded, good or good minus, with tape stains and a piece of tape still along bottom front panel, front hinge about to let go.
