The Thread of Destiny, dictated by the spirit Lucius and psychographed by Zibia Gasparetto, is a sweeping mediumistic novel that explores the intricate karmic bonds of love, pride, and spiritual awakening. The story follows Jacques Latour, a wealthy and arrogant Parisian law student whose world collapses when his father's sudden death leaves the family entirely ruined. Desperate to maintain his social standing, Jacques forces his sister, Lenice, into a loveless marriage with a wealthy rival, only to fall into a trap himself: he is tricked into marrying Elisa, a frivolous woman secretly pregnant with another man's child.Disillusioned and trapped in a loveless marriage, Jacques finds a fleeting moment of profound happiness when he reunites with Anne, a mysterious English Countess he had briefly encountered years prior. They share a passionate affair, but Anne, bound by duty to her people and a cruel husband, leaves Jacques, secretly carrying his biological son, Christopher.Through decades of painful separation, the devastation of World War I, and the tragic deaths of his adopted son and wife, Jacques finds solace and profound truth in the teachings of Spiritism, guided by his enlightened sister Lenice. He learns the eternal laws of cause and effect, realizing his sufferings are lessons for his soul. When Christopher, now a young Count, becomes the target of a dark spiritual obsession by a tyrannical ancestor, Jacques must use his newfound spiritual knowledge to save his son and balance a centuries-old karmic debt. Ultimately, the novel proves that while earthly duties may separate soulmates, true love unites them eternally beyond the veil of death. This item is printed on demand.
