Synopsis
The Thread of Destiny, dictated by the spirit Lucius and psychographed by Zibia Gasparetto, is a sweeping mediumistic novel that explores the intricate karmic bonds of love, pride, and spiritual awakening. The story follows Jacques Latour, a wealthy and arrogant Parisian law student whose world collapses when his father's sudden death leaves the family entirely ruined. Desperate to maintain his social standing, Jacques forces his sister, Lenice, into a loveless marriage with a wealthy rival, only to fall into a trap himself: he is tricked into marrying Elisa, a frivolous woman secretly pregnant with another man's child.
