Sylvain Yeatman Eiffel (né en 1943) est un artiste aux multiples facettes, aux violons d'Ingres essentiellement artistiques : peinture, création de tissus pour Christian Dior, conception de meubles, musique et auteur de divers ouvrages - notamment sur Gustave Eiffel dont il est l'arrière petit-fils. Il aime travailler la matière, se reconnaît une filiation artistique avec Bernard Boutet de Monvel et cultive les thèmes picturaux avec des variations telles que ses "36 Vues de La Tour Eiffel", hommage à Hokuzaï, exposé à la Mairie du 7ème, le Japonisme à la Galerie Maket Messine, ses déclinaisons Odalistiques . Ses sujets de prédilection : les ombres sur les murs, les reflets dans l eau, le déferlement des vagues alliant le rêve et la réalité pour inciter au repos et à la méditation. Oeuvre originale.
