Addressed in handwriting to "My dear Friend" - "Thank you so much for your letter of 5th February. I will certainly write to Prince Philip, and will forward your letter to him a week or two before the Queen and he set off on their tour. It will be better not to send it now as that would be too far ahead. At the time I send him your letter I will write and let you know with which member of the staff you should get in touch to see if H.M. and Prince Philip will be able to see you for a little private conversation.
