Synopsis:

About the Author:

Gerard J. van den Broek is an anthropologist, the director of an agency of the Interior Ministry of the Netherlands, and an independent communications consultant. He is the editor of Fieldwork: Sketches of Jac L. Jongsma 1893?1926 and the coeditor of The Expert Sign: Semiotics of Culture.
