About the Author: Docteur en médecine, Michel Geoffroy est ancien médecin de campagne et ancien praticien hospitalier. Ancien chef de service d'une unité de soins palliatifs, il est devenu président du réseau Champ ardennais de soins palliatifs. Docteur en philosophie, il dirige les recherches du département d'éthique biomédicale du Collège des Bernardins, Il est l'auteur de La Patience et l'inquiétude et de Un bon médecin. Eric Fiat est agrégé de philosophie et docteur de l'Université de Marne-La-Vallée. Il y est maître de conférences et responsable du Master de philosophie pratique, option éthique médicale et hospitalière.
