A largely very well-presented copy, a little browned around the outer page edges as common for these 50s editions, previous owner's inscription inside front cover, but otherwise clean throughout with no major creases or signs of wear. A few minor knocks and bumps along the spine and at the outer corners, from normal handling and shelving. Dust jacket is a little rubbed and grubby, with a few spots and handling marks, but nicks and creases have been neatly repaired with conservation tape, fitted with a protective plastic sleeve for an overall well-presented finish.
