Synopsis
Standard work and classic: present ideas clearly, understandably and comprehensibly with the worldwide successful principle of the pyramid.
Sharing your own ideas clearly and clearly to customers, colleagues or management is crucial for personal success. Essentially, the key to clearly structuring and formulating lies in building your sentences and arranging your ideas. The ideal structure for this will always be a pyramid.
Using the principle of the pyramid, you will be able to significantly reduce your time spent creating analysis, reports and presentations, as well as writing more clearly and shorter. The result should be fresh, understandable writing in record time.
"In 1963, the McKinsey first hired a woman as a consultant. Barbara Minto wasn't chosen for her skills in dealing with numbers...instead, her bosses appreciate her writing skills. And they brought them to some celebrity: Minto developed the 'Minto Pyramid', which is now recognised by McKinsey as part of the company structure. What is it about? Minto realized early on that it was one of the unpleasant aspects in professional life to have to record things in writing. Why? Many already have a problem with logical thinking; and even more so with banishing the mental Tohowabohu on paper. To all those Minto recommends their pyramid concept - a structure to group ideas, bring them into a temporal order and also develop logic trees. Sounds complicated, it is a bit and, according to the author, requires considerable discipline. But who adheres to it, can be sure of the thanks of the readers.
