Synopsis:

Aimed at the individual purchaser, this is the first book on the market that will test students’ knowledge of the ECDL syllabus and will help them pass the exam. This book will provide a set of exercises for each of the seven modules within the syllabus.

Starting with the basics and gradually progressing to a reasonably advanced level, each section will allow students to assess their current level of knowledge and to progress further until they have all the skills required to pass the exam. Before each exercise or set of exercises there will be a checklist indicating which skills are required to complete the task.

About the Author:

Jackie Sherman has been teaching basic computing and IT skills to adults since 1996 and is currently in the process of writing a complete ECDL course for distance learning colleges. She has written a 3-level introduction to a computing course that was commended and accredited by the Open College Network and has taught on OCR and City & Guild courses.
