Add to basketThis book comprehensively explores the latest advancements in multiomics strategies for diagnosing gallbladder cancer. The initial section delves into the genetic mutations and molecular pathways critical for the onset and progression of gallbladder cancer. Through targeted gene sequencing and genomic profiling, it identifies both somatic and rare germline mutations, pinpointing driver genes and predisposing mutations. The subsequent section examines the proteins and molecular pathways altered in gallbladder cancer. It uncovers dysregulated proteins, identifies tumor biomarkers, and evaluates circulating markers for early detection. The book further investigates the impact of infections like Salmonella enterica of the serotype Paratyphi A on gallbladder tissue, revealing genotoxic effects and potential biomarkers. It also explores the correlation between the gallbladder microbiome, physiological state, and biliary metabolic profile. Toward the end, the book introduces cutting-edge techniques like machine learning-based CT imaging for survival prediction and examines the role of epigenetic pathways and noncoding RNAs in gallbladder cancer. This section also discusses the potential of targeting mTOR pathways and the significance of inflammatory and immune markers, offering a glimpse into the future of gallbladder cancer diagnosis and treatment. This book is a valuable resource for oncologists and researchers working in the fields of oncology, genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, bioinformatics, molecular biology, and translational medicine.
