The History of the Restoration of Monarchy in France - only 3 volumes

Three volumes (I, II and IV) and thus an incomplete set with volume III missing, original dark blue cloth hard covers, gilt titles on rather discoloured spines and gilt decorations on front boards, and only minor cover edge wear mostly confined to spine ends. Inside each front cover is a book plate - The gift of M Oppenheim (1853-1927, bibliophile and pioneer historian of English naval administration) in 1919 to Bath Public Reference Library, but none of the usual lending library stamps, although there is a faded white catalogue marking on the lower spine of each of the 3 volumes. Clean interiors with a frontispiece in volume 1- xvi, 530, vi, 499, vi, 524 pages with publisher's advertisements at front and rear of volume IV. 2nd edition published between 1851 and 1853 these three volumes are in good condition.
