本书是一部中国近代史海的《祖孙留学之路》纪实,在当年诡谲多变的国际局势中,书中主角横跨中国、日本、苏联、美国,作者将自己与两位外祖父赵石萍、赵石羽 (赵唯刚)兄弟留学海外的经历与近代中国革命事业的发展记录下来,以此书实践与纪念作者对母亲的许诺与心愿!

作者的母亲有两位父亲,他们是亲兄弟,;一位考取了官费留学去美国就读,回国参加了正在抗日的国民党,他是作者的大外公,是母亲的生父赵石萍。另一位去日本留学,在日本加入了共产党,回国参加了地下工作,然后又去了苏联留学,他就是荣获新中国炮兵开国大校美誉的二外公──赵石羽/赵唯刚,他是母亲的亲叔叔(过继),所以母亲叫他爸爸,而不是叔叔;不论是二外公自己的故事还是大外公的故事,都是由他最早传述家族。作者的母亲得到过不同的父爱,但是为了两位父亲,作者的母亲用更多的爱来回报生育和养育的恩情;也因作者的母亲对两位外公的爱和对家族的责任,才有今日作者提笔创作的想法与灵感。

邹长坪,满族。

作者毕业于北京医科大学医学专业,1986 年赴美留学,1988 年就读于德州大学公卫学院,1990年公共卫生硕士学位毕业,1994年博士学位毕业。在德州大学安德森癌症中心及美国医疗联邦总属博士后毕业后,自1998年起在德州大学医学院,亚利桑那大学医学院,康州大学医学中心妇科及妇科肿瘤任教授。2009年调任新加坡亚太区主持疫苗医学事务,任默沙东亚太地区疫苗医学总监,负责疫苗医学事务及推广,尤其是对HPV疫苗及宫颈癌筛查在亚太地区的应用。曾在美国生物医学高端杂志发表大量科学研究文章。在中国高等教育出版社翻译出版《Hatch's 妇科恶性肿瘤腹腔镜手术新进展》医学专业书籍。现任国际医学争议学会教授及医学部主任,陈纳德将军基金会国际部主任。

2014年由于海外满人回家活动,第一次在抚顺日报发表《我魂牵梦索的故乡》,后在沧海及侨园杂志陆续发表关于中美留学历史回顾文章,留美幼童及庚子赔款等课题,在辽宁大学给与非医学专业讲座《百年留学史1872-1972》,抗战70年以陈纳德将军基金国际部主任名义发表七篇纪念抗战及飞虎队的文章。2018年在苏联出差中意外发现曾外祖父任辅臣牺牲的史料,在侨园及海外中文报纸发表数篇纪念文章。

2021年应辽宁省侨联邀请参加华侨博物馆项目,并撰写《祖孙留学之路三部曲》,现将其部分以纪实文学方式,2024年于美国推出第一部处女作《外祖父传奇Grandpas'Legend》发表问世。

If you are a consumer you can withdraw from the contract in accordance with the following. Consumer means any natural person who is acting for purposes which are outside his trade, business, craft or profession.

Statutory right to withdraw

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good or the last lot or piece.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, electronically fill in and submit a clear statement on our website, under "My Purchases" in "My Account". We will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).

We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to Majestic Books, Hounslow, United Kingdom, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

The delivery of newspapers, journals or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts; and
The supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium (e.g. on a CD or DVD) if you accepted when you placed your order that we could start to deliver it, and that you could not withdraw once delivery had started.
