Dr. Mitra has published numerous articles, some of which have appeared in journals such as Management Science, Decision Sciences, Journal of the American Statistical Association, International Journal of Production Research, Journal of the Operational Research Society, American Journal of Mathematical and Management Sciences, European Journal of Operational Research, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Computers and Operations Research, IEEE Transactions on Reliability, Quality Engineering, and International Journal of Quality and Reliability Management. Dr. Mitra is also the author of the book titled, Fundamentals of Quality Control and Improvement, Second Edition, Prentice Hall, Upper Saddle River, New Jersey, 1998, which is used both nationally and internationally.
