About the Author

De formation scientifique (docteur en chimie nucl�aire), le P�re Jacques VERLINDE obtient un doctorat en philosophie et un DEA en th�ologie qui le conduisent � enseigner la philosophie de la nature et l'�pist�mologie � l'Universit� catholique de Lyon. Il enseigne �galement la Th�ologie fondamentale au S�minaire d'Ars. En 1991, il prononce ses vœux d�finitifs au sein de la Fraternit� monastique de la Famille de Saint Joseph sous le nom de P�re Joseph-Marie.
