Item description from seller

218pp. Octavo [21 cm] Blue and black printed wraps. Very good. Very minor sun fading to the extremities. The front cover has a large abraded patch, where the publisher's information was rubbed out. There is also a small light stain on the front wrap. There is a short closed tear in the top edge of the front wrap, and again at the foot of the spine. Internally, very clean. From the rear cover- "The Death of Bernadette Lefthand is alleged to be a work of fiction, but it all rings true to me; that may be because Ron Querry is a Native American writing about a place and a people he feels for and understands well. we not only have a moving story, but also a history that is highly readable." - William Eastlake.
