Scarce title that complements Gerald Frank's better-known book on this case (see our listing #006037), with a 8-page section of never-before-seen black-&-white photos in center + 176 pages. The author was a reporter for the Boston Globe, & he draws here on findings obtained during the tape-recorded confession of the man widely thought to be the Boston Strangler, Albert De Salvo (though doubt remains if he was responsible for any more killings than the 1 he has been definitively linked to via DNA). A mass market Paperback Original from 1967 (Pyramid X-1538), this book is in Fair condition: interior is clean & unmarked save for old bookstore stamps to first page. Front cover shows slight scraping & remains of old price sticker near top edge. Pages are heavily tanned, commensurate with age. Exterior shows heavy creasing & chipping at all corners, with loss of bottom-outer corner of front cover. Nicely preserved in clear mylar protector bag Free! Our photos depict he EXACT book you will receive from us--never "stock" images of books we don't actually have! Same Day Shipping on all orders received by 2 pm weekdays (Pacific time); later orders, weekends & holidays ship very next business day.…
