Main text in parallel columns. Folio (10-1/2" x 7-1/2"). Seventeenth-century calf, rebacked in period style, gilt frames, gilt central arabesques and tie-holes to boards, raised bands, gilt fillets and retained existing lettering pieces to spine, edges rouged, corners and hinges mended. Light rubbing and some nicks and shallow scuffs to boards, a few small chips to board edges, later owner signature (R.W. Broadwood) and bookplate (Sir John Frederick) to front pastedown. Light toning to interior, minor worming to margins in a few places, light soiling and small early owner signature (Ra. Rard.) to title page, recent repair to its lower outside corner. $4,500. * Rastell first published his great collection of stat.
