Ce sont des portraits en mouvement que Sylvie Callet dessine dans ce livre. On les voit en train de se construire, on suit le geste qui les décrit, déambulant entre les différents points, reliefs et manières d'être, instinctivement, passionnément, ou lentement, mais toujours avec cette pudeur qui tient et retient la distance nécessaire où se mesurent la précision et la justesse. Les mots, avec aisance, grâce et ironie affectueuse, rendent ici, visibles et vivants ces jeunes de CAP électricité ou chaudronnerie. Ils descendent dans leurs fêlures et les sondent sans en avoir l'air. On finit par connaître et côtoyer ces "hommes en devenir", dans leurs singularités et dans ce qui les rassemble, à s'imaginer être avec eux. On sourit, on rit devant tant d'intelligence et de naïveté, d'intelligence dans la naïveté ou le contraire, devant leur inventivité volontaire ou involontaire, on ressent de l'empathie face à leurs angoisses, leurs questionnements manifestes ou implicites, leurs "trop plein de trop", on s'émeut. Et on est, à chaque page, surpris. Surpris, justement, non pas seulement par les situations évoquées, mais aussi et surtout par la force du style qui nous les rapprochent et nous les donnent dans le présent de leur présence. About the Author: Sylvie Callet est une fille du Midi née à Paris en 1965. Elle vit à Villefranche-sur-Saône depuis l'an 2000. Refusant les étiquettes, les cases, les aprioris, elle écrit aussi bien des romans à dimension sociale ou psychologique, des récits de vie que des livres poétiques ou humoristiques. Elle a à coeur de " raverser les murs" pour découvrir et mettre en lumière des personnes dont on parle peu : ouvrières licenciées, personnes en situation de handicap, assistantes maternelles, femmes victimes de traditions éculées, détenus, chercheurs d'emploi, élèves du secteur professionnel etc. Sylvie Callet programme et anime également des ateliers d'écriture depuis 2002 auprès d'un public varié, adulte, scolaire... Elle réalise des ouvrages de commande, accompagne des particuliers dans leur projet d'écriture, s'investit dans des comités de lecture et autres manifestations littéraires, préside des concours de romans et nouvelles. Elle gère au quotidien l'association caladoise Ecriture & Papyrus, dont elle est la fondatrice.
