Paperback. Do you want more joy in your life? Have you lost your drive? Has your faith been shaken? Do you have a difficult time making good choices? Do you tell the truth? Is your self-image poor? Do you want to improve your intuition? Do you have a need to become more empowered? Are you looking for a purpose? Answers to these questions and more are to be found in this book. Following the success of From Ash to Flame: Women Rising, Rev. Basia was called to teach what she had learned from the inspirational interviews of the 26 women. For the past two years, she has taught these lessons to survivors of domestic violence at the Women's Transitional Living Center and other places throughout Orange County. Rev. Basia was then inspired to write this book to allow others to learn as well. These lessons have been a life-changing experience for many. She hopes you have the same experience. Rev. Basia has learned the secret of life: to be of service, not serve. She lives this by donating a kidney to a stranger, rappelling down 19 stories of the Long Beach Hilton for the Special Olympics, jumping out of an airplane to raise awareness of the plight of human trafficking victims, and most recently, shaving her head for childhood cancer research. If you feel there is something missing from your life, look inside instead of trying to fill this void with material products. Fill it with the light of service. She is currently writing Breaking Adam's Rib: We are Rising, which will provide action plans to heal the fracture between women and men through a variety of media. This item is printed on demand.
