About the Author

Basia Christ is an advocate for survivors of domestic violence and those seeking human rights. She has a PhD in Transformational Counseling and is a MINDS Holistic Alternative Psychology Master. She has written for Empowering Women, Beach Cities Style, Today’s Woman, Radiance, and Amazing Women magazines and the Orange County Register. Basia was an altruistic kidney donor on November 3, 2010, a CASA (court-appointed special advocate for a foster child, jumped out of an airplane to raise awareness of the plight of human trafficking victims, rappelled down 19 stories of the Long Beach Hilton to raise money for the Special Olympics, and had her head shaved for childhood cancer research during May 2017. She is the author of From Ash to Flame: Women Rising and Beyond the Flame: I am Woman Rising, both available on Amazon.com. She is a speaker on gender equality, human trafficking, living kidney donations, and 5 Paths to Rising to Your Greatness. Rev.
