When she discovered that it was a gluten and dairy intolerance that were making her life a misery, Boo decided to find a way to cut out the bad stuff without sacrificing those sweet treats she had enjoyed since she was a child. Adapting those classic recipes for her own dietary needs, she found a way to indulge in delicious cakes, bakes and buns, all made from organic, locally sourced ingredients rather than chemical substitutes. A fashion designer by trade, Boo's cakes were such a hit with friends and family that she started selling them on her market stall, and before she knew it, a bakery was born. Combining her eye for vintage detail with her fond memories of her Granny's afternoon teas, Boo collected up her chintzy teapots, cups, saucers and doilies to create a hidden gem of a tea shop in the heart of North London. Boo's first cookery book, "Bake-a-Boo" includes 80 of the tea shop's most popular bakes, including her scrumptious High Tea menu, and many of the delicious gluten and dairy-free scones, cupcakes, cakes and tray bakes she serves at the shop and as part of the special themed parties she is famous for. Whether it's a baby's first birthday or a hen do with a twist, let "Bake-a-Boo" show you how to whip up the perfect spread for any occasion. The book has been read, but is in excellent condition. Pages are intact and not marred by notes or highlighting. The spine remains undamaged.…

Store description
In 2002, World of Books Group was founded on an ethos to do good, protect the planet and support charities by enabling more goods to be reused. Since then, we've grown into to a global company pioneering the circular economy. Today, we drive the circular economy through three re-commerce brands: - Wob: Through Wob, we sell. We provide affordable, preloved books and media to customers all over the world. A book leaves our collection of over seven million titles and begins a new chapter every two seconds, enabling more goods to be reused. - Ziffit: Through Ziffit, we buy. We give people around the world the opportunity to contribute to the circular economy, earn money and protect the planet, by trading their unwanted books and media. - Shopiago: Through Shopiago, we help others. By sharing the technology that has grown World of Books Group into the business it is today, we’re helping charities increase revenue and reduce waste through re-commerce.…
