This VG quality book was copyrighted in 1911 and is published by Reilly & Britton; it is 7-5/8" tall with 220 numbered pages of text followed by 5 unnumbered pages of ads. This book has a yellowish cloth binding with lettering in black except for the title on the front panel, which is in red. The book is square, very clean, free of edge dings with all four corners lightly bumped; the head and heel of the spine are bumped with color loss at both places and slight fraying at the head; the bottom edges have very light wear. The spine is lightly worn and clean--the lettering is still very clear and the image intact. The front panel image is very clean and has very light wear. Except for a neat penciled inscription on the FFEP, the interior is free of writing, stray marks, stains of any sort and page damage of any type. Both hinges are quite strong and not damaged in any fashion. The text paper is very lightly toned and is quite flexible. The book has no remainder mark and is not a former library book. It has a colored frontis on coated paper and three illustrations on plain paper. The list at the front of the book lists through the first six titles of this series.
