Synopsis

In Cold Winds Blow, Nicholas Michael Matiz presents a collection that invites readers to journey through the heart of winter and the soul's quiet transformation.

Internal Affairs captures the intricate dance between joy and sorrow, weaving together poems that explore the depths of human emotion. Every verse is an invitation to sit with your innermost thoughts and embrace the complexity of love, heartbreak, and the inescapable passage of time.

The Originals offers a rare look at Nicholas's early short stories, unpolished yet powerfully evocative, showcasing the beginning of a writer's lifelong journey of self-discovery. These tales, set against the backdrop of his formative years, are filled with themes of identity, relationships, and the struggles of finding one's place in the world.

Together, these two collections form Cold Winds Blow, an introspection on how the holiday season-full of nostalgia and reflection-can guide us toward deeper self-understanding. This is more than just a collection of words; it's an invitation to rediscover yourself amid the cold, the quiet, and the beauty of winter.
