It is concerned with the standard of living and well-being of labour, farmer, housewife, businessman and thus with the total economic health of the country. The main objective of seed marketing is to earn a profit by creating maximum value and usefulness of a product at minimum cost. Marketing management has four basic elements i.e. the product, the distribution, the price structure and the promotional activities. Marketing seed of high yielding varieties and hybrids poses many problems. Seeds are produced in the field but they are subject to fluctuate of the monsoon and ideas of the cultivators.
